Extremely random question, but does anyone know where I can find purple electrical tape or something similar to electrical tape that is purple?

You might want to get some white electrical tape and then see if Michael's has a permanent paint marker that's purple to color it.
In any case I'd check out Michael's. There's plenty of stuff there you can modify to your needs.
